Union Square Farmers Market

Join Union Square Main Streets and 60+ of your favorite local food producers for the 22nd Annual Union Square Farmers Market! Shop local Saturdays from May 9-October 31, except 7/4 & 9/19, from 9am-1pm on the Union Square Plaza. The market provides visitors and residents with top-quality, fresh, and local produce at fair prices; encourages active lifestyle values; educates consumers about farming and locally sourced foods; and gives customers opportunities to interact directly with farmers. The market also shares information and education about community issues, promotes local activities and businesses, and sows opportunities for the community to gather and visit. Thanks to our partnership with The City of Somerville and the Somerville Farmers Market Coalition, we are proud to continue to offer our $15 SNAP match!

Union Square Farmers Market, in its own listing

Before you go.

Markets change days and hours with the season, and the USDA directory this listing comes from does not carry hours for every market. If a day matters, check the market's own page or call the manager. At markets that take SNAP, you usually swipe once at an information booth for tokens, and many states match SNAP dollars spent on fruit and vegetables.

Worth asking before you go:

• What days and months does it run?
• Is there a SNAP booth, and is there a matching program?
• Which vendors grow what they sell?
