Every entry links out to its owner — we host nothing, sell nothing, and rank nobody for pay. Each card says what a thing is and what a grower gets from it, in our own words. Links are probed nightly; entries whose sites go quiet are held back or honestly badged rather than served stale. Know a resource we missed? Tell the collective through the Contact page.

Frequently asked questions.

What magazines do vegetable growers read?

Growing for Market for market gardeners, American Vegetable Grower for larger operations, GrowerTalks on the greenhouse side, and a healthy stack of regional and crop-specific titles. Several are free to qualified growers. The cards say which is which and what each one covers best.

Which farming YouTube channels are still active?

Fewer than the search results suggest. The videos that rank for small-grower technology questions are often from channels that went quiet years ago. We list channels that are genuinely still posting and badge activity honestly, the same way we badge software projects.

Are there free vegetable production guides?

Yes, and they are excellent. The university extension services publish commercial vegetable production guides updated annually, free as PDFs: pest thresholds, variety recommendations, spray schedules, the works. This shelf links the majors, and your own state's guide is one card away on our state-by-state page.
